At 6:30pm on Monday 7th April, I found this young female dog at the entrance to the Lexington Woods subdivision (off of Aldine Westfield Rd) in Spring, TX.
She has no manners, but wants to be friends with everyone. I believe she has escaped from someone’s backyard – as she did not want to come inside my house when we got home (but was happy for a short ride in the truck). After some coaxing she did come in and has said hello to my cats and 2x house rabbits (she thinks bunny poops are delicious!).
I took her back to where I found her earlier, but she didn’t lead me to her home. I’ve posted flyers on the 4-way stop signs at the entrance to the subdivision – in hopes that her owner(s) will see them.
I’ll hang onto her for a couple of days before taking her to the shelter.
In the meantime she’s having a grand vacation and just ate pizza crust next to my dog on the bed (surrounded by cats and the bunny boys).
